Complaints Procedures and Reporting: We ensure all Ākonga receive clear, accessible information about their rights, responsibilities, and our complaints and appeals resolution process, fostering a fair and transparent learning environment. The nature of complaints and outcomes are registered and kept on file. The outcome and resolution of a complaint is recorded. Processes are in place for individual and or group complaints and documented.

Nelson Technical Institute has to date Zero Formal Complaints to report at the time of the publishing of this report.

Recording and Reporting Critical Incidents and Emergencies: Nelson Technical Institute (NTI) follows a clear process for reporting critical incidents and emergencies, including health crises, mental distress, violence, fire, or natural disasters. Incidents are logged immediately with full details, evidence secured, and emergency services contacted if needed. Reports are submitted within 24 hours and escalated to management or regulatory bodies when required. Follow-up includes team review and policy updates.
